Product Brief Description: Used to provide a physical barrier to protect patients, EMTs, paramedics, and other healthcare personnel from respiratory-borne illnesses, such as COVID-19. Designed under the supervision of emergency medicine physicians, paramedics, and EMTs to be safe and easy to use. After extensive clinical use, the HALO patient shield is able to fit all adults and pediatric patients with its universal-fit gurney clamps. Use the HALO Patient Shield during prehospital, intrahospital, emergency, and disaster transport.

• Universal clamps securely to all gurney types. Folds flat for easy storage.

• Disposable, nontoxic, crystal-clear HALO Shield polyethylene film plastic cover. The plastic cover is fitted to the shape of the HALO Shield metal frame. Dimensions 24″ x 26″ x 48″.

• The metal frame is highly reusable and durable. Can withstand 5 years of use.

• Clinically evaluated and validated by Dr. Carol Bernier, an Emergency Medicine provider at Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital and Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital (Virginia, United States). She is faculty at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (Virginia, United States).

• Completely odorless

• Wipeable metal 304 stainless steel frame, smooth-surfaced on all parts. Can be sterilized like standard paramedics and EMT durable equipment such as transport gurneys. To clean, simply wipe all exposed smooth sides with standard alcohol wipes or sterilization cleaning fluid or hot soap and water.

• All materials compliant for patient use and comply with current USDA and FDA specifications.

• Every unit includes one (1) metal frame and fifteen (15) plastic HALO covers.
