WARMILU SUPPORTS BLACK LIVES MATTER
(JUNE 12, 2020) ANN ARBOR, MI - BLACK LIVES MATTER

Warmilu stands in solidarity with black communities, entrepreneurs, our audiences, our fans, and our partners in the US and overseas. We mourn the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, Breonna Taylor, and the countless Black lives that have been cut short due to systemic racism, oppression, and racial injustice.
It is time for all of us to show our solidarity and support of Black Lives Matter and protest the institutional racism that permeates our society β in any way we can and with compassion in the face of COVID-19 highlighting challenges faced by minorities seeking equal healthcare. If all Americans stood up and said βno more,β it would be hard for the system to continue as usual and lead to the loss of innocent lives. In all we do, we celebrate and support progress towards a more just and equitable world. We join our voices with those of people from all races, religions, socioeconomic, and political backgrounds. We would not be the Warmilu we are today without the support of the Hillman Accelerator, an accelerator to fund women and minority-led startups. Diversity in thought from our investors championed our growth and helped us warm and serve infants, governments, hospitals, nonprofits and healthcare practitioners around the globe.
We see you.
We hear you.
We stand with you.

Each one of us can make a difference during the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Warmilu stands in solidarity with black communities, entrepreneurs, our audiences, our fans, and our partners in the US and overseas. We mourn the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, Breonna Taylor, and the countless Black lives cut short due to systemic racism, oppression, and racial injustice. These are some resources we are using to get involved, learn, share, and speak out, including:
β The Hillman Accelerator supports women and minority-owned businesses. We would not be who we are without our Hillman mentors, like Candice Matthews Brackeen, who helped us gain access to funding and business development resources. Because of Hillman, @Warmilu connected with @proctergamble for entrepreneurial and technical mentorship. For more information, check out their blog and events.
